Membership

We are a family friendly group offering access to a fun and interesting hobby, to the young and not so young alike. We have members from all over the country, both new to re-enactment and those long established.

We will help you take up the hobby with advice on how to make, or where to buy any equipment you may need. We can also put you in touch with members in your area who can help you to get involved in this rewarding hobby.

Current Membership is open to all persons, who are prepared to abide by the letter and spirit of all related Rules, Constitution, Memoranda and Articles, especially those rules concerned with Safety.

Application for membership shall be made to the Membership Secretary. You can download the full brochure and the Membership Form from this site. Please note, all applications must be made by post as your signature is a requirement.

The Categories of membership and current annual fees are :-

Adult	18 years or over	GBP 100.00
Family	couples/partners and their under 18 year old children living at the same address	GBP 150.00
Senior	Over 65 years of age	GBP 25.00
Junior	under 18 years	GBP 25.00

The Committee reserves the right to refuse any application for membership.

The Society undertakes to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 as it applies to an unincorporated member's club.

New members are subject to a probationary period of one year.

Any member, who fails to observe and rules of The Erpyngham Retinue, shall be reported to the Committee, who after deliberation the committee shall take whatever action they deem appropriate, even unto exclusion of the offender from The Erpyngham Retinue.
