T.V. and Film work
The Erpyngham Retinue are available both T.V. and Film work. In our time we have worked for many different clients including Tiger Aspect Productions - Blackadder Back and Forth, Lion Television - Castles and Royal Deaths and Diseases Granada Media - Tales of the Black Death, Battlefields Detectives and a recent commission from Wide Angle Productions on behalf of National Trust Bodiam Castle, where we also provided all the extras for their visitors introductory video, generic battle sequences used and many more.
Although our particular specialities are the time period 1380 - 1420, we have experience in providing extras for both T.V. and Film work from, Dark Age and Roman to World War II and The Gulf War so what ever the time you need extras for we can provide them. The main advantage of our extras also is they already have costume authentic to the time period being portrayed so major savings can be made on your budgets.
Our fighters are able to both free fight and choreograph fight sequences for both foreground and background action. We can train your principle performers safely and quickly to fight with weapons ranging from sword to flail and poleaxe.
Should you need horse work we have access to fully trained stunt animals who are "bulletproof" literally, having been exposed to both gunfire, cannon fire and full blown battle sequences in their time, these animals have already appeared in such films as "Braveheart" and some of Kenneth Brannagh's own productions.
